Stick Fellows

These are my spiritual guides.  They have been with me since 1977. What I love about them is their simplicity yet ability to be very expressive. When I create a stick fellow painting, I start with drawing them first. What's important is their interaction with one another. The surroundings becomes second nature and what happens next is totally unplanned.
